I took my car here for the 1st time on a referral from Carmax. I was very impressed with the shop the staff and the work they did to my truck. These guys are honest and the real deal. I was recently referred to Placentia Super Service via CARMAX. I have an extended warranty with CARMAX and learned that their dedicated repair facilities were they were experiencing a backlog on appointments. CARMAX related that Placentia Super Service is one of the Authorized Repair Pal representatives associated with their nation wide CARMAX warranty program. Thus, this was my introduction to the Placentia Super Service automotive maintenance / repair garage. I am happy to relate that I received excellent service from the Placentia Super Service team. They facilitated a rental car with Enterprise through my CARMAX warranty....diagnosed the problem with my vehicle....arranged for authorization for repairs from CARMAX...kept me informed on the status of the repairs. I was impressed with their research / knowledge of the specifics related to my vehicle - a VW TDI (which has some interesting atypical technical requirements). I was pleasantly surprised to find that Placentia Super Service also assessed mechanical issues (beyond my initial reason for seeking warranty claim service) and discussed these additional pending issues with CARMAX and subsequently arranged to have these issues addressed via warranty as well. Placentia Super Service has a friendly team and maintains a very organized clean repair facility - which feature: wide screen TV; coffee service; clean restroom faciliites and complimentary snacks. I also learned that Placentia Super Service provides an additional 3 yr / 36K mile warranty on the repairs that they performed...beyond my original CARMAX warranty coverage. Special shout to Jasper Taunt (Service Adviser)...and Bob Cornwall (the \'Friendlier Owner\') and Andrew Bray (the \"More Helpful Owner\') and all the service technicians at this garage. Honest and quality work. Very hard to find especially when it comes to auto shops. Both Bob the owner and Don where very helpful in diagnosing my trucks issues and also offering honest feedback on some cosmetic improvements so it would work with my budget.
